Why thalassotherapy in Tenerife?

Thalassotherapy uses warm ocean water, marine mud and sea salt to revitalise circulation. The deep Atlantic waters surrounding the Canary Islands are rich in mineral salts, magnesium, iodine and potassium.

Warmed to body temperature (34°C–36°C), these mineral-rich waters promote transdermal absorption of trace elements, easing muscle tension after long volcanic treks and leaving skin deeply rehydrated.

What to expect

1

Seawater hydrotherapy circuit

Work through underwater massage jets, swan-neck cervical fountains, bubble beds and counter-current lanes.

2

Thermal contrast and steam

Alternate between steam chambers, dry Finnish saunas, cold plunge vats and sensory ice showers.

3

Warm lounger relaxation

Recline on heated ceramic loungers sipping herbal tea, or opt for an ocean algae or volcanic mud wrap.
