Läckö Castle, Lidköping & Kinnekulle in 60 seconds

On a rocky island promontory jutting into Lake Vänern — the largest lake in the European Union — the 248-room whitewashed Baroque palace of Läckö Slott rises above reed-fringed bays and the reed-roofed timber pavilion of Naturum Victoriahuset. South across the bay lies Lidköping with its 1672 hunting-lodge town hall and Rörstrand Museum of Swedish porcelain design, while to the east the flat-topped table mountain of Kinnekulle climbs through ramsons groves, limestone alvar and medieval sandstone churches.
