Abisko & Kungsleden in 60 seconds

Lying in the rain shadow of the western Scandes beside seventy-kilometre Lake Torneträsk, Abisko enjoys the clearest night skies in Arctic Sweden and serves as the northern gateway to the 440-kilometre Kungsleden trail. Walk through the birch-lined marble gorge of Abiskojåkka Canyon beneath the iconic U-shaped silhouette of Lapporten (Čuonjávággi), ride the chairlift up Mount Nuolja for midnight sun or aurora viewing, and follow the marked alpine path towards STF Abiskojaure.
