Theth & Albanian Alps in 60 seconds

Tucked inside an isolated amphitheatre of 2,500-metre limestone pinnacles in the Accursed Mountains (Bjeshkët e Nemuna), Theth is an unspoiled mountain sanctuary. Traditional stone alpine cottages with shingle roofs scatter across lush green meadows bisected by the crystalline Theth River. Travellers come to explore the fortified Kulla e Ngujimit (Lock-in Tower) rooted in the ancient Kanun code of mountain honour, hike to the thunderous Grunas Waterfall, and brave the freezing turquoise pool of the Blue Eye of Kaprre.
