Split & Trogir in 60 seconds

Split is a vibrant living Roman ruin: Emperor Diocletian built his retirement palace here in 305 AD, and today thousands of residents live, drink and dine directly inside its monumental colonnades. Just 30 minutes west across the bay sits UNESCO-listed Trogir, an intact medieval-Venetian island town. Together, they form Dalmatia's dynamic cultural heart and the premier gateway to the southern Adriatic islands.
